Thierno Barry

Re: Thierno Barry
If I got my mates tickets and sat then with Everton fans, then they celebrated when we conceded and they got a slap - I'd tell them they deserved it and never get them tickets again.
Absolute biff behaviour
But yeah, in an ideal world there'd be no violence and the stewards would just remove them at the first sign of them not supporting the same team as those around them.
But these lads celebrated both goals and we're still there filming people leave.
The stewards have some blame here as well

Can we stop saying they got a slap?
There’s a world of difference between getting a slap and what actually happened.

Re: Thierno Barry
I think a lot of it has been blown out of proportion all round.
I don't feel any different about Barry at all. It was a silly mistake to get his mates tickets there if they are Arsenal fans, and what has happened in the away end is regrettable, but entirely predictable and the response would be similar (or worse) in away ends all over the world. We're no different and we're certainly no better, but also no worse than other fanbases.
I don't see why it has to be some huge deal where he wants to leave the club either. Things happen in life, people carry on and move on.

What a moron getting Arsenal fans tickets in our section
Mind you he doesn't seem to be the brightest bulb in the lamp.

Re: Thierno Barry
I wonder if their behaviour was partly down to being Barry's mates so thought they were probably immune / protected and could do what they wanted with retribution?
Still doesn't excuse anything though, if I saw someone doing that would I think 'class, I get to punch someone in the face now'? No, because I'm not a violent knob head.

Nothing i have seen from Barry so far tells me he will take this mantra.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2026 9:35 am I think a lot of it has been blown out of proportion all round.

He does seem quite immature.

Re: Thierno Barry
Dont think he'll make it this league on what I've seen this season. He needs to be careful about alienating himself from Everton fans with comments.
