Have to say i really dont mind him. I think hes a decent premier league player. Our biggest problem, for me, isnt so much the individuals in the team but the balance as a team. He needs a different type of winger and our wingers need a different type of fullback.
What do you like about him?
He isn't even that good a.defender this year (bar a couple against the top teams)
Let's be honest it's a disgrace he's been given a contract that long. A year extension to his current one on the proviso that he's back up should have been the best it's gets.
Already can't be arsed with next season. Myko and JOB will both be fullbacks again I bet.
As long as we sign a first choice LB I'm not arsed about the length of renewal Myko got. Him renewing isn't the issue, it's whether we buy someone to play instead of him that is.

No chance we sign a first choice LB , renewing for 3yrs with option of a 4th , we have no intention of getting a new first choice....

We were always going to renew even if just to protect his value. Obviously I get why everyone is worried he'll be first choice next season, and I really desperately hope that's not the case.
We'll just have to wait and see. We'll have to buy another LB no matter what so that'll be an indication of whether Myko is going to be first choice or not.
