Hamstring again but doesn't need surgery. Although I'm sure they said that the last time and he ended up needing an op.

Could do with a ball playing cb, he makes such a difference when he plays but it’s clear his body is unable to keep up.

Shame we’re extending Keane as there probably isn’t room for another cb now.

I'm hoping Jake's extended stint at RB helps him become that ball playing CB who is comfortable stepping out from the back.

I'm very happy to give him next season as Tarks' partner to show us what he can do over a season at CB.

I don’t believe that’s a thing that happens to be honest.

He’s ok on the ball but he’s more in the Tark / Keane mould than Stones / Jarrad.

Either way I just hope Jake starts in CB next season.

I think him and Jarrod would compliment each other perfectly but I question whether Jarrod will ever be fully fit ever again to play a sustainable amount.

Nah, imagine Tarks at RB... Nightmare stuff.

Keane is actually really good on the ball, one of his biggest strengths.

IF he doesn't actually need surgery, then of course it is ultimately good news. I suppose it's not entirely unexpected that recovering from instability in one area can cause issues elsewhere as the body is compensating. Hopefully now he has time to rest and make a full recovery then add in a proper pre season and he can come back stronger and for the longer term.

Not sure how likely that is...but we'll see. It'd be great for him to actually play full season or two and get into Euros contention, as that really is his level if he can get past these issues.

He can’t run with it though?

No he's a good passer but slower than a slow motion replay.

Probably the realization of how crap Tarky is, agreeing with us all.

But yeah, you shouldn't do that.
