Just how he’s got this young side play football. How he transformed Rayo Vallecano and got them comfortably in the top half of La Liga from La Liga 2 - yes please.

Ridiculous to compare him to Potter. Let’s not ever get a young, ambitious, exciting manager because Potter.

Last night's performance was ridiculous.

Players wanting to press high, get forward, create chances, take the game to the opposition no matter who they are.

European football achieved. All while looking to the future with a young squad.

Bournemouth have done great but you do wonder why their manager has decided not to renew his contract with them.

I guess no matter how well they do, they are essentially a stepping stone club for players and managers, you can add Brighton and Brentford into this category.

It just seems silly not to take this opportunity whilst it presents itself. For whatever reason his best option in England seems to be Palace. A young progressive manager that plays with a high intensity and happily plays younger players. Isn't this exactly what the Friedkins would want?

Who knows what the manager market will look like in 12 months but it's hard to imagine there'll be any better options willing to come to us.

Should also be looking at other candidates outside of the PL who have turned around clubs fortunes recent times

Sebastian Hoeneß at Stuttgart is one to keep an eye on.

On that basis I'd be trying to convince Ernesto Valverde to try his hand in the premier league, he's done a great job with Bilbao many times

He’d do well there, sadly.
