Will a new manager now make us more stable in 12 months time?
The evidence is surely that we paid for 40m for a winger who's about 6th choice, got another winger on loan whos also behind mcneil and signed cover at left back who's so unfancied hes not our cover at left back. If moyes wanted these players then thats not a defence of moyes because he decided very quickly afterwards that he had no desire to use them

All made before our director of recruitment was appointed

We’ve signed George. Young, potential, apparently Moyes is keen on making it permanent

100% success in joined up recruitment so far based on the evidence

Was always going to happen.

Expect to see Keane, mykolenko and tarkowski starting a lot of games again next season and expect to see Moyes gone by November.

He’s such a fan of the lad he’s decided to start centre mids and Dwight McNeil over him.

I’m prepared to see what happens over the summer and next season before writing everything off. Who knows there might be a slightly longer term plan - or it might be the same old shite Everton making the same mistakes. Time will tell

Sure

Or just Ndiaye, because he’s like, a left winger

If someone wants to argue that Everton have a joined up recruitment strategy then honestly just let them have it. No worries, enjoy your season.

He’s both, as is Ndiyae.

Mad how you’re arguing signing a player who the manager has hardly used shows joined up thinking.

My god some of the arguments to keep Moyes are not great I don’t buy for one second that he didn’t want dibling or aznou just does not know or want to risk playing them McNeil was out the door in January and played more than George and dibling combined last 5 months

Hes spent most of his time here behind mcneil.

Also even given a pass for moyes on this mess... what the fuck does it say about the people running the club if this 100m mess is because we recruited without recruitment staff.

The problem is moyes has shown no interest in dibling. If theres a long term plan for the player I think it would require a different manager

I dont think he wanted them. Maybe he got final say but I think it was on a list of young players none of which he reallt wanted. Thats not a reason to keep him though.

He didn’t show much interest in Leighton Baines when we first signed him either. I’d like to think we’ll finally sort the RB issues and Dibling might get more of a chance. We’ll see.

You don’t think he wanted a winger costing most of his budget come on he wanted him just looked at him in training and couldn’t fit him into his system/tactics like I said elsewhere irola or emery would develop him moyes just can’t do that

I just want us to take a chance here.

If the choice is continued mediocrity and painful to watch football with Moyes, or taking an opportunity where someone like Iraola is available and gambling then I want to gamble.

There's no guarantees of success but I'd much rather take the chance on a more exciting future than sit back and watch another season like the one we've just had.

I know that there's a chance that an Iraola fails and I'd end up wanting him sacked, but I'd still want us to take that shot now if it's available.

Yes we've craved stability for a few years, but it feels like we've got it now and there's no reason to delay trying to push on if there's someone available who could potentially push us up a level.
