Meh - he knows how well loved he is, he doesn't need a ground full of pissed off fans stood 'round clapping whilst he trots around the side-lines like a show pony. He was probably embarrassed and wanting to get out of there too.

Nothing to do with the fans and all to do with the players and manager, that result - that's what was out of order.

Just poor from the club, terrible planning. Have something planned for before the game, communicate to everyone to stay for a goodbye event after it, and dont bring him on to play in a competitive game if hes not to standard.

Think it's nice to see how well respected he is in the game but it's to our detriment we haven't offered him a coaching role (which I don't think he wants yet and that's fair enough), or moved him on if he wants to try and play somewhere.
