Barry has looked sharper and just a better player in pre season. Beto just hasn’t got going and he had a few chances against Stuttgart to finish but didn’t get moving quickly enough to get on the end of them.
Without doubt Beto is now behind in the pecking order and it’s Barrys place to lose

His contract is up in the summer, so that six goal spree in Jan would just ensure he signs for someone else overseas

We can’t be letting him run his contract down and leave on a free.
As erratic and limited as he is he is still worth a decent amount to someone before the window closes, so I would imagine getting him out and bringing in a replacement has to on the agenda of our board if we are smart about trading with our limited budget.
