I’m a fan and I think he has potential but it does make it a tricky situation now, and depends on how long he’s out for.

It does us no good for him to leave on a free. Or not get game time.

Unless it’s a really bad injury and he’s out for a long long time it seems a bit odd from Hull. Maybe if the money wasn’t really there we were further apart on the deal that it seemed..? They could even using this as a way to try to bring the price down even more as they seem to be hunting for bargains from their signings.

Maybe it's not completely dead, but might be a risk too far for Hull in this window - they need someone they can rely on from game 1

Honestly, I think that sounds like nonsense then. They’re probably just trying to get the price down, or just had second thoughts. No way if you’re serious about a player you move on because they might miss 1 game at the start of the season…every player is going to miss games at some point.

🗞️Hull City Manager Sergej Jakirovic is still keen on signing Tim Iroegbunam despite his injury that could see him miss the first few weeks of the season

Yeah, it’s still on. Can see why they’re in no rush to push it through when he’s not even fit. Gives Hull leverage to come back in before deadline and get a better deal on a player that has less than a year on this contract.

"Hull remain interested in Tim Iroegbunam, as his injury is only minor. The Everton midfielder is also attracting interest from other clubs across Europe, including Italy and Germany. The 23-year-old has also caught the eye of clubs in Turkey."

'Hi Giulia, Davie Moyes here. Could you do me a quick favour and post a rumour that clubs in Italy, Germany and Turkey are interested in Tim? Hopefully that'll force Hull to quit pissing about and give us some funds for a right back'.
