I like that we don’t drink at our seats.

Breaks the drinking day up.

Don't think it would happen at ours, but my biggest worry with allowing drinks at your seat would be any performative pint throwing after a goal.

Think it's probably more of a boxpark wanker thing than a match going fan thing, but it's enough to make me prefer not being allowed drinks at seats.

In all other spectator sports you can take alcohol to your seat, the current rules mean people end up necking it quickly to get back to their seat.
And also in Europe they can drink on the stands.

Like you say, it adds to binge drinking! Neck it within 15 mins.

It would stop people leaving ten mins before half time and emptying the ground so people can have a bevvy before second half

Goes back to hooliganism doesn't it and it's never changed since, you didn't see rugby or cricket fans back in the 70s and 80s fighting in the streets or grounds so drinking's always been allowed.

Could be worse, you can't even get a drink in the ground in Scotland although it is under review

As a person living where people are free to drink through the entire game and get completely pissed, I think the system you lot have is preferable.
