Echo saying 12 weeks is wide of the mark as he still hasn't seen the quack
The echo doesn’t get the time of day with me anymore, not for a long long time now.

Me neither when they emigrated to Manchester

Moyes confirming it's a stress fracture, no time scale for his return as the doctors haven't told them yet.

They usually say a stress fracture takes 6-12 weeks recovery time unless it’s particularly nasty. I didn’t even go medical school either (googled it)

Confirmed now he's gonna miss the entire rest of the season.

Shame that. Combined with the liklihood we're not bringing anyone it'll be a season of consolidation.

Can’t make my mind up if this improves or decreases our chances of signing him. Seemed to like it here and we potentially get a better deal out of city now

I’d definitely try and lowball City in the summer and see what happens. Moyes seems to love him so would imagine he will let it be known to the board that he wants him. Although he would be a relatively short term fix with little to no resale value, as we have already seen from him he is guaranteed to give you goal involvements , as well as being a foul winning machine, which can be hugely useful to us

Horrible luck yet again. It was fun while it lasted though. He's on another level to anyone who's pulled on the jersey for the last 10 years.

It’s not good news, but practically I do think we have to give Dibling and even Aznou some more minutes this season. It wasn’t happening with Grealish in the mix because Moyes wanted him on for the full 90 more often than not. They don’t have a chance of improving and building confidence otherwise. Or if you’re sceptical on them finding out if they’re even good enough to rely on.
Still a bummer though and a shame for Grealish after the start he made.

Lets not be silly hey, yes he's been vital to our best parts since he's been here but to say our season is finished already is a tad excessive

Just get him on another loan
