I doubt he’s the first player to do this.

Nothing i have seen from Barry so far tells me he will take this mantra.
He does seem quite immature.
How come you think that?

He’s come up league by league, level by level, until he’s reached the Prem. It may have been a step too far or too soon. Or maybe not. But it may be the first time it’s been really difficult for him. It can be hard to take when you hit your ceiling and it’s below what you want or expect.

This incident is exactly why we have a membership system, as every other club has, to stop away fans buying tickets in home sections.

How do you mistakenly think someone is celebrating when they are actually gutted?

Just seems it from reactions, sitting for 15 mins with shirt over head after missing a chance and getting subbed one game, some of his socials posts are pretty dramatic and immature etc
He sulks so much, etc

Sometimes I watch him and it feels like he's about 18 and people talk about him like that as well.
He's 23. Same as Branthwaite. Older than Tim and Alcaraz. People need to stop infantilising him.

Nobody comes out of this with any credit.
It's pathetic you can't celebrate a goal without getting attacked, but really what did barry's moronic mates think would happen when they did jump about while all around them people were absolutely gutted.
It's beyond stupid what barry did, not only was it a disgrace that he gave away tickets to his arsenal mates but seriously what did he think would happen if and when arsenal scored.
He's 23, not a kid anymore.
The club should have him in and read him the riot act

@Stumpy He didn't give them tickets apparently. And they were supporting him .
He's slightly back tracked or didn't give the whole story , it made our ( his) fans look bad either way .
Either way it kicked off and looked like from the videos that there was more than a few Arsenal fans in our end....

I dont think hes saying he didnt give them tickets just that they came to support him not arsenal.

You maybe right
If it's true that his family friends etc had our kit on and got caught up in it then yeah , only them there. Know what really happened......

I am a bit surprised that the club don't appear to have a policy on social media use when related to the club or incidents such as this. (They probably do).
I thought it was a bit loose when he signed that it seemed to be confirmed through his social media before the club officially announced it. Photos of his contract etc.
It appears as though his media/legal team are now taking over his social media and the club are likely clamping down.
Just a messy situation, trial by social media, that we do not need taking away focus from our level of performance. We'll be hard pressed to pull off another very solid performance like yesterday against upcoming Chelsea, Brentford and 'them'.

Someone’s probably had a word that it’s a nice fine and a banning order for getting tickets for fans in the wrong section
