I think if we're in Europe it's a no brainer. Maybe bring George in permanently and it'll be enough minutes to go around got everyone.
I do love Ndiaye on the left though and but he does still produce on the right.

I attribute the injury to fullbacks fouling him for fun.
Felt like everyone was allowed to get a few kicks in before there was any action taken this season and his leg paid the price.

How many kicked his foot, how many will kick it next season?
Either answer doesn't bode well really.
He's either going to get kicked until something breaks, or if it's not that he's (as shown in recent seasons) injury prone.

Love to see him as a ten with KDH dropping deeper

His foot will be partially made of titanium now with the bone growing around any plates/screws so will be stronger than ever! No worries about that happening, and each injury like that is an isolated injury in terms of broken bones. Would be far more worried about knees/hamstrings etc.
If he is available at the right finances then it’s a no brainer, no matter whether we reach Europe or sign other players.

Last season he missed 67 days with groin and hamstring injuries despite barely playing.
He's been pretty injury prone the past few years, so I think if we do sign him we need to accept he's going to miss good chunks of the season, and most likely more each year.

I think if you look at that team yesterday and replace McNeil with either Grealish or someone like Malick Fofana you have to wonder if going all in on Jack is actually smart business.
We still have no pace and signing Grealish won't change that.
Maybe in an ideal world we get Grealish on a free and £150k a week wages, then buy the next Fofana or Rayan to play backup... But not sure how feasible that is.
Given the strong links to Harry Wilson too I think our absolute priority for a wide player is pace, can't be signing multiple wingers with average at best speed.
I like Grealish, but we've arguably been maybe better without him so I don't think it's as cut and dried as just sign him no matter what tbh
We have George. He has pace. He’s the only one, like, but he does.

Only on loan though, haven't seen enough of him to say whether we should or shouldn't sign him. I feel there's better out there though from what I have seen, but it's hard to know how good he is with the little he's played.

He’s good! We should definitely buy him! Fast, direct, fearless, gets shots off - good quality ones as well. What’s not to like?

I'd love to find a way to play him centrally and have him doing a Bernardo Silva type role for us.
1000%
Despite his amazing abilities he's still too constrained when he only has the option to come inside or go to the line.
Imagine what opposition players would feel when he has the ability to use the full 360 degrees of range, can bring in all of our players with that vision. He is actually a bit wasted out wide (Edit: no pun intended).
In regard to cost I think there will always be a line at which he would be too expensive for us, but right now he isn't that for me, two seasons ago, or two seasons from now (all going well) he wouldn't be the best fit, but for now in this period of growth he ticks far too many boxes to not push the boat out a little further.
His contribution in regard to our results,... but also his professionalism, standards, absolute crazy level of skills & quality with the ball, experience, marketing dream, fan engagement; bums on(or off) seats, synergy with others (KDH), character, humanity, mental strength,....he's just worth the cost of what might be an extra squad-filling junior player. Many/some of these qualities are lacking in the parts of the squad.
Revenues are up. Sign him up.

Also its fair to say he had a very big impact and kicked us off brilliantly this season. Whilst only playing half the games at what is likely double wages of a top earner, he's changed us.
A momentum shifter, a zeitgeist changer.

More likely to get kicked out wide with 2 defenders on him, who's job it is to stop him. Get those skills central

He played every minute of every game, and then broke down and misses the entire second half of the season. Not sure his fitness is something we should be using as a positive to sign him.
He didn’t break down, he broke his foot

What's the difference? If it's a stress injury it's no different to a ligament or muscle tear.
People are just assuming it's from people kicking him but it's equally as likely as from the stress of playing regularly.

Didn’t they say it happened in training, as in it was a particular incident?
