A well known source like Fabrizio Romano has posted that Ndiaye is open to the Saudi-project but that it is up to Everton to agree to such a deal. The rumors of Ndiaye is not fake but with the contract he has Everton is ofcourse entitled to stop any transfer.

I never said the rumours about Ndiaye were fake, Romano's fine, I'm talking about the fake Ornstein account that people fell for or the likes of an Everton twitter account with about 500 followers that just posts Football Insider links etc and linking us to a near 35 year old who couldn't even cope with the SPFL latterly. It doesn't take two minutes to check the link you're about to post and decide if it's worth it or just another random/blag Twitter account pretending they're an ITK or someone they're not.

If Ndaiye leaves for big money though it transforms our ability to bring in multiple players. Things could look very different in a few weeks time.

Tbh I'd be more worried if the Ndaiye to Saudi links weren't flying about as it's clear as day we don't have any money to spend.

I think you're giving Moyes too much credit, this is much more realistic:

A month to go and our team currently looks like (excluding injuries):

Pickford
JOB Branthwaite Tarkowski Mykolenko
Garner Hackney
Ndiaye KDH *McNeil
Beto

*Probably swap for George if he leaves.

I'm not optimistic.

I just don't know if they've shown they've got that in them. Obviously money does seem a bit tight but they've been after a RB since the start of last summer and here we are now. They just don't seem to be able to get things done.

Sell Ndiaye for £80m, buy a RB and a LB
Gueye seemed done for CM
Sort deal for Grealish
Sell McNeil, Alcaraz, Barry, can maybe get a better striker 🤷‍♂️

Starts to look better…

With Rohl, Armstrong, George and Hackney on bench

Pickford
Doue (-40m) JOB Branthwaite LB (-25m)
Garner Gueye
Dibling KDH Grealish
Beto

Lots of noise around Ndiaye but no firm news from anyone reputable yet so we can't be imagining 2-3 additions based on funds from his sale.

Therefore we have to assume we are going into the first game of the season with him at the club and no right back, as things stand.

Looking at it now looks like we can’t spend much until we sell like being back in 2006 instead of 2026

I posted the fake Ornstein one in response to a comment that started that on another Everton site we'd agreed a deal, I clearly started it was a blag account, so not sure why people thought different?

On paper aside from fullback that side has potential, but without a fullback coming in it all looks a bit pointless.

What about 1-2 injuries than we are back to Keane again

Exactly why a fullback matters because O'brien should be there
