I wonder if with Grealish out...Aznou gets some time on the left to be the wildcard in a more advanced role?

Nah I doubt it.

McNeil will be a shoe in out wide, and maybe Dibling.

Although, Moyes may prefer Aznou over Dibling after the former’s Sunderland cameo.

Impact sub for the rest of the season if we can't get him a loan. No more than that.

If he's capable of consistently making an impact as sub, I wouldnt be looking to send him on loan, I'd be looking to get him involved regularly off the bench.

He's had 34 minutes of football in the cup and 30 of those were only due to the game going to extra time, that's been it despite the squad situation we've had over the last few weeks so I doubt he's going to get much game time even as sub with players coming back etc.

Find him a decent loan in the Championship and let him play some football.

Hope we appropriately manage him and the other youngsters' careers. We could have the basis for a very good team 5 years from now, especially if we keep building with exciting youngsters (our new backroom staff are supposed to be good with this).

Just need a Thibaut Courtois 18yo regen for when Jordan finally hangs up his gloves.

Same but also wouldn't be surprised if he's deemed that he'll never be quite right for the premier league. Moyes has already said he's not physically up to it yet, so whilst he's got talent may well be that he's just not right for this league.

Would definitely prefer a loan now and next season though to see if he can bulk up and become more of a specimen.

Hard to tell with him, rotten in pre season but had a bit of a cameo in the cup which was originally going to be four minutes until we equalised but now people are wanting him to play based on very little evidence. It's easy to say that when Myko's at left back at the moment so the old "he can't be any worse" mentality comes in when in reality he could well be.

Needs a loan if he's not going to play, we've spent a decent bit of money on him so we need to develop him and sitting around here isn't going to do that and he doesn't appear to be in Moyes plans at the moment. Hopefully he doesn't turn out to be another young player who we've failed to develop and get some game time and he ends up just fizzling out and disappearing off the face of the earth.

Largely agree with the above, but just to say I don't think you have to go overboard on the cup cameo, but I do think it challenges the narrative that he's unsuited to the league and arguments along those lines. It doesn't really gel with what we were seeing that game, ok it was a small sample, late in the game etc but I think most would say he did well. So how do you follow that up? Doesn't mean he starts, maybe he plays higher up aka "the Coleman" to get used to the league, or maybe he goes on loan...the point being though we can at times (not always) be a bit conservative with bringing players through but we do have to strike a balance to give them some chances to prove in game what they can and can't do. Aznou should've really had another cameo in one of the games McNeil was playing just to try and keep the development going.

Clubs like us have to be good at bringing through talent to ever really kick on.
