Make a big "Moyes out" banner then.... hire a biplane, fly it over the Spurs game....Maybe ask the West Ham fans if they have one knocking about, as they head back into the championship.

Yeah I don't understand that rhetoric?

We just to be grateful for that utter shite? And keep quiet, become happy clappers? Spend £70 a ticket to sit in that ground and watch Sunderland batter us? But stay and clap the team off, great season, stayed up wooooo

Maybe WH are going down because the club was left with geriatric players?

Maybe they are going down because they didn't get in anyone better than Moyes' stability.

A mate at footy last night said Ireola coming here is never happening in a million years, he will more likely go to Liverpool....and that it would be step down going to us from Bournemouth....

Grim.

Don’t worry Sunderland dropped theirs off on their way to Europe

I can't stand the fact that we have stood still, gone back, stood still.

Villa got relegated and now going to win in Europe. Got champions league next year too.

Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford taking risks with players, running the clubs properly. Hiring young ambitious managers and reaping the rewards

But we go backwards, then stagnate. And we have for 20 years.

It's demoralising seeing city fans last week, arsenal fans last night, villa fans tonight, palace fans next week prob. Enjoying watching their team and celebrating winning.

We turn up week after week after week. And it's fucking pointless. It will never ever change will it

Still in the camp of giving Moyes next season but there's no reason to not expect us to be challenging for Europe. Less than that is a failure. There's no reason to think we should regress next season.

Villa a prime example of a big club going bad for years appoints a top class proven winner reaps the rewards time we started acting like a big club and move on

When the Moshiri era began we were mid table but that Villa team with Bacuna, Lescott and Micah Richards were atrocious.

Then our strategy of splashing cash and high wages on fairly average to poor players with eventual no resale value along with the appointment of seemingly safe uninspiring “prem proven” managers all out of sync with the DoFs of the time, it’s kind of a miracle we find ourselves midtable in the Premier League still ten years later.

One day you just hope, maybe, the stars will align where we will have an innovative owner plus an innovative football setup and an innovative manager that does do something original and find a way to get us back into Europe and competing near the top.

Hopefully in ten years time we are not in the same position or even lower while we watch random teams from lower leagues like maybe Wrexham, Lincoln and Stockport find a more successful formula than us.

But stepping back and having a look, it's unbelievable.

The last 5 years we have been in a state of panic all the way to may, about relegation. It's been very difficult and overwhelming.

How mad is it that right now, we are checking out the fixtures and results of those in 4th, 5th and 6th instead.

Moyes really did bring that pride back to the club.

Circa 21st March... and if you weren't posting them...you were liking them :D

I'm fucked off too, but I'm just going to enjoy the world cup and see what next season brings. Silas has pitched it right for me, Europe is the clear objective next year, no excuses and if we dont get it, I'll make you a banner myself.

Yes because we can respond to what's happening in front of us?

The last 2 months have been unforgivable. 🤷🏼

Our recent drop of form does have to be looked at with some alarm, we’ve gone six games without a win.

Even when we had David Moyes as a manager before I don’t recall us being this badly out of form except one spell after Collina’s Villarreal went through in the Champions League qualifier and we were rock bottom of the PL table by October and relying on James Beattie and Marcus Bent to supply the goals.

He doesnt get any credit for the good work proceeding those 2 months?

It's a little bit black and white for me, no room for nuance or balance when he goes from a saviour to a villain in 6 games.

Because ending the season on less than 50 points possibly in 13th/14th is a poor season.

It’s actually very nuanced to praise him when things were good, then criticise him when it all falls apart.

You’re only as good as where you finish, and where we’re going to finish isn’t going to be good enough unfortunately.

Eh? Yes .... As you can see. There's been masses of credit and praise?

Big fan of @Matt1878 going back in the vaults

With respect though, none of us realised just bad Chelsea were in general at the time we beat them.
