Re: Tyler Dibling

He is very young and has lovely attributes. It’s going to take him a while to settle in and become accustomed to what Moyes and the side need. I certainly want to see him being a bit quicker in terms of tempo and also be busier. Whether that means getting fitter and / or sharper I’m not sure. But lo...

Re: The Friedkin Group

If they win and set a precedent, it's going to cause absolute chaos if these Man City and Chelsea charges are proven. The Premier League was always going to eventually swallow itself up through the sheer greed of clubs, owners, agents and players, maybe this is the start. This is why it won't win -...

Re: David Moyes

If we won the league with 80 points playing decent but not amazing football and we had another season where we scored 90 points consistently played beautiful football but finished second, which one would be the better season? Title all day every day. In 100 years time, no one will care how you play...

Re: David Moyes

I would love to see someone like Marco Silva back here. Someone with real experience and properly proven now in the PL who has done a great job and plays decent football. Not saying we always need to go back for old managers (!) but I think he would do a great job. But only once Moyesy feels like he...

Re: Merlin Röhl

Looked nice and assured today for his debut.

Really liked his off ball movement - came looking for the ball off of the centre backs which is a massive positive. Also has a bit of bite to him in the air and also in the tackle.

Re: Jordan Pickford

We have had some incredible keepers at the club. It’s one area that we have been consistently strong in (apart from perhaps the late 90s with Myrhe and Gerrard etc etc). Since I have been a fan, to have had Southall, Howard, Martyn and Pickford, the majority of which have had long successful records...

Re: Jack Grealish

I think teams are going to start sitting a bit deeper against us and allowing us a bit more possession to counter both Grealish and N’Diaye. I think if you allow either of them too much space, they will really hurt you. If teams don’t tighten up and allow that space against the full backs then we wi...

Re: The Rebuild

Dibling will gradually come into the fold over the season. We are lucky that we can phase him in rather than have to throw him in immediately. KDH or N’Diaye are currently undroppable due to their early form, but if you want to really progress as a club and move into the elite, you need to be forwar...

Re: The Getting Carried Away Thread

You felt the sense of excitement in the stadium when we played Brighton. It was just different. It’s felt like we were being held back by staying at Goodison for decades. Ever since a move was mentioned, it’s been hanging over the club and the fans for nearly 30 years. It’s like a weight has been li...

Re: PSR nerds thread

For PSR, you would have to include previous years transfers that have carried over, as well as transfers that have happened in this transfer window. You need to take each players fee on purchase and amortise over the length of the initial contract. You can then work out how much that player is costi...

Re: Transfer Deadline Day Summer 2025

All the signs are there that this has been a fantastic transfer window for the club. You can't say it was a perfect window due to the lack of a RB, but otherwise we have significantly upgraded our squad. Grealish coming in has made it a special window for me. He is the type of player that you love t...

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock

You can get premium tickets for almost any ground in the UK if you want to pay. We have just never had them so aren’t used to it.

It’s great for the club as the margins are massive and also good for fans who just want to go once or twice a season to a game.

Re: The Rebuild

Tark will play every game but I can’t see him starting beyond this season. Feels like he has lost something in his game. Maybe it’s just form and he will recover but he hasn’t been good at all in the first 3 games.
