Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Mosquera pathetically goes down for the 3rd time this half. Disgraceful.

Re: Newcastle v Everton
Alcaraz is injured for a few weeks Moyes said, so wouldn't be available even if Moyes did want to play him. I think it's safe to say we won't see Patterson start again this season, Moyes wants a new RB and he's not going to risk Patto doing a half decent job and the transfer committee refusing to b...

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
Why is every attack so fucking slow? Get the ball ponder, sideways pass, backwards. Stand still for ten mins pass sideways. It's because too many players are out of position so have no clue what to do. I agree, but reckon it must have something to do with us not being able to keep it, and being don...

Re: How on earth did we survive from Benitez onwards?
I think we were leading 1-2 and @Shogun posted something about their profligacy/distinct lack of opportunities...blueforyou wrote: ↑Sat Feb 21, 2026 10:43 am Losing to Dyche's Burnley - thought we were goners
How on earth...?
And then he replaced Lampard less than 10 months later!

Re: VAR and is there a way to fix it?
I'd argue a highlight reel of Steven Gerrard's incidents during some of the the derby games might say otherwise. I think there is a balance to be had still between nothing and catching the really stupidly obvious stuff that gets missed minus the forensic analysis. I don't entirely disagree with tha...

He hasn't really looked happy since his return has he. Bit flat understandably. Need to show him some love, as we have the fella on the other side of the pitch.

Re: VAR and is there a way to fix it?
I was of the same opinion until I watched Villa’s game yesterday - as bad as anything I’ve ever seen. Now I don’t know what I’d prefer as much as I hate VAR, refereeing just isn’t fit for purpose I guess that's on the ref/assistants though, who will now have to be held accountable for their perform...
