Re: Jarrad Branthwaite

Yeah he's very young for a centre back, it'd be a good strategy for him to stay for a season or two and get the right move for him, not just United.

Obviously that'd be better for us too, so we should be having that connversarion with him if United come in for him.

Re: Ben Godfrey

Have to disagree with you there Ram, there's nothing he's actually good at apart from being fast and being a solid defensive left back when we're battling to not concede. He's had very sporadic OK spells but mostly the correlation of him being in the side and us being shite is telling. If we can get...

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I like these, I like the different angles that show players' reactions that you wouldn't normally be able to see.

Re: Kalvin Philips On Loan

If he has a preseason and the loan deal is good value then I think it'd be a good move for us.

Surely we wouldn't sign up for daft wage contributions in our financial situation.... oh god, we will won't we.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Much prefer him to stay - hasn't had a great season, obviously, but he's finally put together a run of games again and has really come good in the last few weeks of the season. Not sure in our current position how we could replace him satisfactorily, at least we know what we're getting with Dom. Ev...

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

There's life after Dom. But we do actually have to sign someone.

Adebayo maybe.

Re: Amadou Onana

I mean yeah when he has a good game he looks levels above anyone else in the team, he just hasn't had many of those games this season.

It's not worrying because he's still young and inconsistency is expected and I think if we hang on to him this summer then next season he'll take it up a gear.

Re: Amadou Onana

I was saying where it originates from. To demonstrate why it can be considered racism. Come on mate its not hard. Sent from my SM-G977B using NSNO Everton Forums mobile app Yeah, apologies, I was being facetious. But I do shudder when people bring up racism unwarranted. Not you, you're responding t...

We haven't had any African American players.

Edit: Tim Howard of course, shame on me.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

I'd take him as a squad player over Toney, but it depends how many strikers Southgate wants in the squad. For me, Kane, Watkins and Solanke are all better players and in better form. So if there's a place for a fourth striker, I'd take Dom. He'd be useful if they're chasing a goal and throwing it in...

Re: James Garner

I could see Barkley in our midfield even with Dyche as manager, but only in a deeper position against the teams that want us to try and break them down. Otherwise he'd fit into Doucoure's position.

Re: Dyche

He’s doing well overall. Not too far off what I would have expected when we hired him. Often a bit dull, effective when it works, hard to watch when it doesn’t. Much like Moyes when he didn’t have his best footballers at his disposal. The next evolution is for Thelwell and the recruitment team to f...

Re: Dyche

Dyche has done much better than the last two managers (not that they should be something to measure against) with a worse squad, but the bottom three this season are pretty much as poor as it gets in the Premier League as well. Big one is next season for Dyche. Hopefully no points deductions, bette...
