Moyes is about to be replaced by a wife beating alcoholic netball coach. But, he’s our Kidd.
Don't :(

This is why I was scared about Americans being involved.

Has there been any info about what this guy is involved for.....?

He did not. This is not how basketball works. He has consistently said that he was unaware of the trade until the last minute. GMs and Owners deal with these things, though you would normally expect the coach to be consulted or informed - apparently not the case here.

Hopefully he's been bought in to teach Doucouré how to pass and assist.

What? Why? What an odd take.

He's just a member of the owner's group. Probably not even a board member (no mention of that). Will be an advisory position as well as a sporting connection... a point of relevance to the coal face of the company (albeit a different sport).

Its the equivalent of an honorary degree i reckon. Just to get us publicity across the pond. He will be snapped at a game wearing an Everton beanie and that will be that.

Yeah, Jason Kidd didn’t organize the Luka Doncic trade. That was Nico Harrison.

Seems like just another case of a wealthy American athlete (former athlete, in this case) buying into a PL club. If it has any tangible effect on anything football related, it means that this thing with the Friedkins never had any chance of going right.

Yeah honestly just ignore it, it's just money stuff, could not care less.

Christ.

Fully convinced Usmanov was either using these to funnel his money through, or convinced them to loan us money knowing full well they’d never be able to take us over or get their money back.

Wouldn't surprise me to find out he's still involved through different investment vehicles with TFG either tbh.

Kinnear did a 1 hour plus interview with a Leeds fan podcast after every summer transfer window, explaining their decisions and answering any/all difficult questions. Would be great if he carried that on while he's here.

I listened to one earlier and he came across as quite an engaging character who knew a lot about the team and the players, not just the business.

Leeds reportedly have the best commercial performance outside the top 6 in the PL, probably a big reason why we've brought him in.
