Think hes just making it clear he wants to stay but the club isnt offering him a reasonable deal. Saves face when he goes.

He's entitled to want the salary he thinks he's worth and that maybe he can get elsewhere, and we're entitled to say ''no thanks, big man''.

Little bit disappointed in his comments there though. Seems to overstate his own value a bit and comes across as quite entitled.
