Ah feel like I'm going mad reading this.
WHAT footballer on the planet is saying anything different?
Whatever, sounds like he's going anyway, but he's said nothing wrong here.
Why are you going mad?
Everyone is saying he’s entitled to want more money but he shouldn’t be going on a Ben foster podcast calling out the club and having a little dig at the fans.
It’s fine for people to be calling him out over this.

Don't get it at all, I don't take those comments as bad whatsoever but is what it is
He shouldn't mention fans but I don't see how he having a dig for questioning why fans are saying he should deduct his wages. It's also his last contract as a professional footballer. Thanks for the important goals that help keep us up and I hope you get the contract you want in Saudi.
When was this recorded from him? If a week or so ago I can assume this was why he was left out of the squad due to ‘personal reasons’.
I could definitely see Moyes dropping him for such comments.
Were not offering him a new contract. It was either or between him and Gana for a new contract (told this by a journalist friend)
I've been told he's going to Saudi pro league, probably going to live in Dubai and wind down his career. (told this by someone close to the player)
Whatever he is saying publicly is to get more money (my opinion)

He was asked a question on a podcast to be fair, I don't think he's said anything that bad, or that the club have done anything wrong either.
It's just a lose-lose where we can't keep a player we'd (the club) want in the squad at that wage, and he wants to stay but wants what he thinks he's worth. Neither party get's exactly what they want but they both stuck to their guns and everyone moves on.
