I have a soft spot for Wycombe. My old man was from Marlow and growing up,my nan would religiously keep match reports about Wycombe when they were non league.CannockPricey wrote: ↑Mon May 12, 2025 4:54 pm On a League one tangent, Wycombe have announced kids season tickets next year will be £25 regardless whether they are promoted or not and will include a free home shirt. Can't knock that to be fair.

A Birmingham stadium update. I read between the lines that there is no way this gets done without PL football coming first but if it does there'll be some crying and whining at Villa Park

Connor coady signing for them was a bit unexpected

Re: Wrexham
Say what you want about Wrexham, at least the owners aren’t as annoying as Tom Brady at Birmingham
Re: Wrexham
I dunno, he comes across as someone who might like the tv spotlight. Not sure he's the player that Wrexham think he is now though.Bally wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 4:39 am Connor coady signing for them was a bit unexpected

At his age, there's a risk he's lost that turn of pace he had when he was with us...

It's making me reconsider my opposition to Russian oligarchs and despotic states on a lesser of two evils basis.TheRam wrote: ↑Fri Aug 08, 2025 10:20 am https://www.reddit.com/r/footballcliches/s/kqJo4vluw9

Re: Wrexham
One of the reasons I got into watching Everton and the Premier League was to escape the cringebaggery that surrounds so many American sports.
Kind of infuriating to watch it slowly seep into English football via all of these American ownership groups.

Club record £10m for Nathan Broadhead. 27 year old, injury prone, 3rd choice Ipswich wide player, one year left on his contract Nathan Broadhead.
He's good when fit (which is rarely) but that is crazy money. Must be the first example of Welsh tax being a thing!

Re: Wrexham
Yea probably a lot of add-ons in that £10m but hopefully we can pocket some extra cash. Nice to see him doing OK, talented but too many injuries.
