I think it's worth thinking about the Keane situation if the wages aren't crazy. Hasn't looked bad under Moyes. Just play him in away games?

Depends how much we have to spend, but I think we should concentrate on other areas first. The whole right side for one.

Need better options at both FB positions.

A genuine quality RW or another baller for that flank.

Better Striker.

Obviously keep Beto maybe see about Dom as a third choice.

Go out of your way to keep Gana.

What sort of wages do you suggest we pay a third choice striker ? Probably half of what DOM is on so that’s that.

I do think it's a shame young isn't staying as a cheap squad filler and also that we'll be in no rush to replace mykolenko who's a very good defender

Vital that we retain gana or do amazing when it comes to replacing him. Think we'll see alcaraz and Keane in the premier league next season even if it isn't for us

If we can get a really good right back, a really good right winger and a quality central midfielder while retaining gueye and alcaraz I think we can have a very decent season

We have survived probably the hardest period in our history, probably on a couple of occasions more by luck than judgement. Really looking forward to a better future now

He'll 100% have to take a pay cut

Doubt many others will offer what he is on currently.

7 of the 14 players who played a part today are either leaving, or haven't signed a new contract. That's quite an ask to recruit and bed in so many; I suspect we'll see 3-4 signing new contracts soon.

Gana I'm hoping we re signed, no matter what just don't let him go.

Slim chance both DCL and Keane stay I reckon.

The rest will go.

It'll never happen but I'd absolutely kill for Kudus here.

Still gutted Ajax blocked his loan move to us that time.

Grealish on loan would be a game changer.

More than a fair chance that Keane will stay, Dom to get his P45

Don't think he's arsed, one of those players who's made his money and happy with life. I don't think he's the type of character Moyes would go for either.

It seems like we’re trying to keep most of the expiring contracts around but holding firm to our valuations of them.

Doucoure’s been announced as leaving because he has bigger offers elsewhere but Keane is probably willing to play ball on reduced terms for a reduced role.

I imagine we’re frantically trying to keep Gana because he’s so important but he’ll have big offers as well given the standard he’s still performing to.

I don’t hate it. This group has functioned well under Moyes, a massive overhaul in a single summer is a pipe dream given the amount of competition for quality players. The fewer players we have to pay a big fee for, the better. We don’t want to be negotiating from a position of desperation if we can avoid it.

At least Gana doesn't look like a man who is leaving anytime soon.

As much as I don't rate keeping someone like Keane, it's not that big a deal and it's more important bringing in footballers who are effective on the ball in the attacking end of the pitch. The major thing would be players like Harrison, Doucoure and DCL not being in the squad offering nowhere near enough in the final third.

McNeil 11 goal involvements in 1371 minutes
Ndiaye 9 goal involvements in 2441 minutes
Harrison 1 goal involvement in 2085 minutes

Alcaraz 5 goal involvements in 763 minutes
Doucoure 5 goal involvements in 2577 minutes

Beto 8 goal involvements in 1531 minutes
DCL 4 goal involvements in 1614 minutes

Kind of speaks for itself. Get a decent RB who can contribute going forward and and we can gel a team here.
