It's probably because I love him as a player but he's never been a big big goals and assists guy, I think probably just would make us a lot better using the ball and breaking lines.
A loan with absolutely no commitment or chance of purchase to get us through the next year is the only thing that I'd say is worth the risk. Him with a flying fullback would be Baines-Pienaar levels.

Lots of clubs publishing their released and retained lists today, expect it's only a matter of time until ours is out and we get an idea of plans for DCL, Coleman, Keane etc, and the scale of the rebuild job.

Contract offers to Gana and Coleman and still "liaising" with Keane and DCL's representatives.

I think the bobble has misread Evertons announcement and jumped the gun a bit.

People used to hang on his every word but I'm not convinced he gets that much, if any, inside information these days. Seems like he gets as much right as he does wrong and most of it is just a punt or a quick post as soon as the club release something to make it look like he released it before them.

If we basically just swapped Doucs' wages for Grealish on loan it'd be completely fine and a good use of that money.

Add in a loan fee or requirement to purchase after the loan and not so much.

I guess he's technically correct in that, as things stand, DCL is set to leave.

If he played like he has over the past 18 months at City he really wouldn't be the best player in our team. TBF though Pep's possession at all cost game probably nullifies 80% of his game. Still think it's more of a Moshiri signing, big name but not in the position that will help the team

He went for £100m at one point didn't he Grealish. It would be like watching a spaceman.

People may not want to hear it but paying Seamus Coleman to play football in 2026 is a joke.

Yeah, it's a pure Bill Kenwright style sentimental deal. He's started 10 games in the last two seasons, I reckon if we were staying at Goodison he'd be off to a coaching role and that would be it.
