Of all the RBs we were linked to then this made the most sense to me. Not past it like Walker or another older clogger like Coufal and not getting relegated all the time like Walker-Pieters.
A good modern day full back who is very strong defensively but also more than capable of taking up attacking positions even though admittedly his attacking stats aren't amazing. He's not glued to the RB part of the pitch though.

I honestly don't ever remember seeing this guy play, but looks like the best of the freebies available so happy we've got him.

Very happy with that. Really solid signing that will be reliable for 2/3 seasons, while we scout longterm, younger quality at RB. Comes straight into the first 11, no problem. Free transfer, great. Wages won't be exorbitant.
