Feels like they're going to get away with it, and the league are trying to workout what they can do to tame the wrath of angry red coloured teams expecting to be gifted retrospective trophies.
Didn't really know where else to put this but I was just listening to the Guardian football weekly podcast and enjoyed the description of Chelsea "financially drinking their own urine to survive".
One of my favourite footballing podcasts that I can usually still listen to even if we've lost as the discussions are usually pretty funny.
Why would BBC reporter Shamoon Hafez write this puff piece?
"Last season was a difficult one for the team in which they failed to win a major trophy across all competitions and Guardiola would have needed extra moments during preparations to conclude his remarks and relay messages - for this reason, the team have not been sent out on time as required by the Premier League."
Couldn't any team that was losing a match and failed to meet timelines defend itself in this manner? Ridiculous.
Sounds like he's angling for a job in City's Promotions Department, or as Head of Communications.
