21 fucking years man
I was just going back into work after a year out to learn how to be a dad
My youngest is 22 now
The fucking life I have been through since first signing up to here is nothing short of astonishing, especially as I was 32 when I signed up I'd spent 17 years in bars and was still drinking
I was a fucking mess
This place helped me back on track I've made friends for life on here
Dave
Gash
Ram

Nick
Rich (get fucked Currill)
The other rich
Steve he was a bit of a knobhead on here but a sound fella in reality
If I've missed anyone I apologise my brain isn't braining today.

And obviously the main man Si
Who I love as family , genuinely I think the only other person outside of my immediate family who actually gets me .

Thank you to all who have kept this place a beacon of .... Well normality

We should arrange something like that.

Around July 2008 I joined, with social media it's fallen away a bit and we just have our own band of merry men and women but it's quite nice that way rather than a forum that's over run and you never get a chance to read everything. Met some good people off here both in person and online, Si, Bally, Brownie, Blarg, Risky, Goaljira, Jimmywhack, Silas, I think that's it.

A meet up one year could be fun as long as nobody punches me for being an annoying little dweeb both in real life and on here

This place has been important to me. Think I joined about 2009 ish and it’s always somewhere to go literally any time day or night and not always necessarily for Everton related stuff, but to get anything off your chest you need to!

Met loads of people I would consider mates from here, some in real life as well

The absolute randomness of being sat next to Bally in the Gwladys that time was hilarious!

Really enjoyed doing a few podcasts with Si, Bally, Ram and Shogun back in the day as well, top lads!

We’ve got a great community on here and props to everyone for contributing, may it long continue

I visited GOT on and off during the takeover. Really makes you appreciate the community on here. Even our dickheads seem reasonable.

I can't remember exactly when I first joined but I know it was either 2006 or 2007. I remember Si advertising his new site on the WSAG forum back in the day.

It's been my go to place for Everton chat and a lot more ever since then really. Probably more for general chat but we need another thread of forgotten posters and classic forum moments over the years. There's been a lot of them.

Been a constant in my life for the past 20 years... and I wouldn't change it. It's a special little community.

I've defo told this story before, but I joined here after the guy who ran Bluekipper had a complete power trip meltdown back in about 2008 I think.

NSNO appealed to me over a place like Grand Old Team as I prefer a smaller community. I've been a semi-regular poster since and exclusively here.

What's mad, is I feel I know all you guys, I've never met any of you, but I feel I have a good idea of you personalities, enjoy everyone's posts (most of the time) and sort of see you a pseudo-friends.

I'm going to be coming up to BMD at least once next season, it would be great if I got the opportunity to meet some of you for a beer pre/post game if anyone was keen. That's if you can understand me as I sound like a farmer who has been dropped on their head.
