And Tosun.

The photo does have an unreal quality to it. Probably contributed to by heavy floodlighting from four corners, plus all the other stadium lights, so I can understand the skepticism.

Ross barkley went to Luton but with better form, a better injury record and on about 40k a week. I don't really know how anyone can justify him getting anything significantly better than that

I think he'll end up at Leeds hoping to prove himself and get a good move a year down the line
They need a striker but in reality need 2, so as a freebie home-grown it's whilst unlikely not completely off the charts imo.

I do think he's more likely to end up at someone like Villa or Newcastle though who need to pad out squads.

I think the only way he gets a good team in England is if he's incredibly cheap

It is defo my fave photo from the past few years. That one, and also Richy face planting the pitch in celebration and holding the smoke flare.

Good luck to him. Probably for the best for both parties at this point, I wouldn't totally rule him out getting a decent club even if it's at the cost of him sitting on the bench most of the time. If he wants regular playing time though, I'd expect he'll have to set his sights a bit lower.

Don't imagine he's got more than a couple of years left at the top level though with the injuries.

We wouldn’t want to sign him, if he played for someone else

I mean, he hardly played for us ffs!!!

Best of luck to him. Always liked him and wish him well at whichever club he goes to (within reason!).

Read this post and then was intrigued. Worked my way back through a few pages trying to work out what was going on like some non-lineal Christopher Nolan plot. Now I’ve got a load of DIY mirror writing tattoos reminding me which NSNO posters I should trust

I've seen people on burnley West ham and Leeds forums horrified that they might sign him.

Not a lot. Was that or getting involved with the buffy the vampire slayer chat. For the record I enjoyed both that and the Angel spinoff too.

The depth of field also makes it look like it could have been concocted, everyone being in focus and how they're situated, like a Sgt Peppers album cover, only better!

A freak of a photo, from a crazy night.
