Liverpool being bellends
Re: Liverpool being bellends
I've no idea how good he is or isn't but feel like I'm missing something. 23 years old, one decent season in the Bundesliga last season and no international caps for France. £69m.
He might be absolutely class but no idea why this is seen as a massive coup.
Anyway, another £69m for the never spending reds.

My brother got to know Joey quite well after his playing days. Said he was a really nice guy. Another ex player with dementia...

Seems like Isak is now saying he wants to go to Liverpool - they’re building a truly terrifying side and it looks like it could be a rough couple of years ahead
Re: Liverpool being bellends
That'd be just the £300m+ spent

Hopefully they fuck it up somehow, but their global presence for marketing really is a golden gooseFree Agent wrote:A new era begins. Dark days ahead.

Re: Liverpool being bellends
They keep going on its just the money they've generated themselves but whatever way you spin it a club spending that amount, with possibly more to come, just isn't good for the game at all.
Re: Liverpool being bellends
It's never a guarantee of anything though.
The league will be a lot more competitive this year.

It's what happens when 14 clubs are restricted by PSR whilst the other 6 can do what they want. Chelsea and Man United have particularly taken the piss but any of them are capable of doing the same.Bluenose91 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 24, 2025 1:20 pm They keep going on its just the money they've generated themselves but whatever way you spin it a club spending that amount, with possibly more to come, just isn't good for the game at all.
Even someone like Arsenal. Their record sale is £30m for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. They just spend spend spend but it's never £100m and therefore people don't notice that they barely sell anyone for money.
