Nah, better that than a thread with about 5 different things going on at the same time. If he doesn't sign the thread with quietly disappear down the page.

Need to give individual player threads a chance early if one is ever going to rival N’Zogbia.

Admittedly I’ve only seen the YouTube on this guy early on but filed it under ‘never happening’ because he looks amazing. I’d be walking on air if we managed to pull it off

No, we’ll move on to the next target, at least we’re looking at these type of players. Can’t blame these players holding out for champions league clubs.Free Agent wrote: ↑Sun Jul 27, 2025 8:48 am It was nice while it lasted.
Guess we’ll just go with what we’ve got then.

What i dont understand is, he has said this since end of the season. It isnt a surprise that he wants a champions league team.Bluebridge wrote: ↑Sun Jul 27, 2025 8:57 am No, we’ll move on to the next target, at least we’re looking at these type of players. I wonder why we have wasted time/energy on him, he was never going to come here.
We do this constantly, go for players that would just never come here, waste all the time, get knocked back, run out of time and then say 'oh we tried though!?!'
Re: Malick Fofana
Been some reliable journos saying we’ve agreed terms with him it’s just the fee with Lyon that needs to be agreed.

He was linked with the shite before, they’re waiting to see if Bayern make a big enough offer for Diaz, then he’ll hope they’ll be in for him

Re: Malick Fofana
If we've spent any time on this (and I appreciate that is a big if), then it is very specifically the problem I had with Moyes for years (and why my levels of flap have increased this summer).
It was never, ever going to come off. At best it was agent stuff to drive out better suitors.
That time could have been better spent persuading a more realistic target that he was our number one pick.
What has happened in the last, is those more realistic targets have been chased early and hard by other clubs, so we miss out on the very best, then we miss out on our best options, then we Scrabble around for whatevers left at the end of the window.
