Had this when people questioned Moshiri though didn’t we?
“I’m sure the billionaire accountant knows what he’s doing” was a common phrase.
It is possible that in a competitive field such as the premier league the people we have employed to sign identity and sign players maybe aren’t as good as the other experts employed across the league.
Come on its a bit different. Anyone with eyes could see moshiri was making a mess. These people are maybe a couple of weeks behind trying to fix the mess moshiri made. Almost everyone gave moshiri more benefit of the doubt

What i dont understand is, he has said this since end of the season. It isnt a surprise that he wants a champions league team.
I wonder why we have wasted time/energy on him, he was never going to come here.
We do this constantly, go for players that would just never come here, waste all the time, get knocked back, run out of time and then say 'oh we tried though!?!'
We've clearly had some encouragement with this or we'd have not submitted a bid. He wants to come, but he might also want to wait and see who else comes in too.
We can't look at these players and when they say they're interested just go 'actually nah, you're too good for us'. We have to pursue it and hope it comes off.

Will be surprised if he doesn't replace Diaz at the shite. In the meantime, we edge closer to Jack Harrison.
I very much doubt Harrison would return, Leeds are actually playing him in his correct position, the same position he excelled in when he was with Leeds originally.

I’m not buying how difficult it is for us to attract players.
Sure if we’re going for players who have been linked to Chelsea and liverpool it will be difficult but we did manage to sign a player like Onana when we were in a much worse position.
I have no issue going for players like this and if it’s been reported the way it has I think there’s a good chance he will sign.
Part of the recruitment process is selling the club.

That would apply if we still had the scatter gun approach of Moshiri where other than overpay for players and managers there wasn't much plan. We've hired some very well regarded people with Premier League experience to come and work at the club but it's going to take time for everything to sort itself out. I get that people want players in but we aren't going to change the club and the last 8 years in 4 weeks of their first transfer window, it'l take about 4 windows for us to get a decent squad put together.
