And that's with JOB in there twice.
Only 5 good players. That’s shocking.

We'll be begging for Doucoure when we go and spend £15 million on Soucek on £120k a week.

Not for the price we're going to have to pay.

I wonder if the club at least looked at available free transfers back in June - apart from Tete and speaking to our out of contract players.

Even only one or two for the squad who could do a job for a year considering how small the squad is.

It’s probably too late to return to that list, most players out of contract will probably be well below match fitness levels and take longer to get up to speed vs the rest of the squad.

This is apparently from La Gazzetta dello Sport, though I can't see it on their site - these Juve fans seem gutted... 😂

https://www.vecchiasignora.com/topic/37 ... ocampista/

Douglas Luiz, who was absent from last Thursday's training camp without justification, is expected at Continassa today. The Brazilian is returning to Juve, but not to stay. Both the player and the club hope to finalize the deal soon. The decision is shared, but the figures haven't been finalized yet. Douglas Luiz is pushing for Everton, who, however, would prefer a straight loan. West Ham and Nottingham Forest, as well as Mourinho's Fenerbahce, remain in the running.

Oh, here's the GDS piece - not quite phrased as above:

Those deals just never seem to come off for us. Marinakis will probably kidnap someone in his family and he'll sign for Forest.

Such a pedestrian first 11. Sigh. Tarks is gonna start the season slowly and we are only a few knocks away from Keane and Patterson starting.

And why has it taken us a decade to sign a RB

Reckon we get three more through the door this week. Makes 6 in total, and people can stop stressing quite so much

I think Bakayoko, who went to Leipzig, is one of them.

I'd guess Tete and Delap would be two of them.

Conceicao is another, apparently was our first choice RW but chose Jive instead... Which is no surprise for obvious reasons, but also he was on loan there last season too so we really stood no chance with that one.

I mean, Bakayoko, Tete, Delap and Conceicao in the door and there is a significantly more chill atmosphere around the place isn't there?
