Yeah fair point, although we've now bid for a more realistic option and people aren't happy about us potentially signing him... I guess that shows how hard improving this team in a substantial way is after so many years of languishing in the lower reaches of the league.
Malick Fofana

Re: Malick Fofana
We can’t play McNeil RW. It’s been a disaster in pre-season as he is the most one footed player I have ever seen play football. All he does with that right foot is balance on it.
We have to bring one or two in - there is no other option. Otherwise that right flank will be targeted all season long, especially with no talent at right back either.
Re: Malick Fofana
Exactly. Reminds of the FA Cup final against Chelsea and our right hand side was the dynamic pairing of Hibbert and Osman. Love both players but we had no attack down that side.Gary1878 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 7:46 am We can’t play McNeil RW. Kevin Sheedy was one-footed, but he also had the unique advantage of also being Kevin Sheedy!Gary1878 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 7:46 am We can’t play McNeil RW. He was also a bit lazy, but everyone complimented each other, perfect harmony.Toddacelli wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 1:04 pm Kevin Sheedy was one-footed, but he also had the unique advantage of also being Kevin Sheedy!

He also had Psycho behind hi, so didn't really need to track back and defend so much. Anything that got past Sheedy was going 6 feet up in the air.Toddacelli wrote: ↑Sat Aug 02, 2025 1:04 pm Kevin Sheedy was one-footed, but he also had the unique advantage of also being Kevin Sheedy!
