At that price he's going to need to become a great player for us to sell him on and make money.

Feels like a big risk and overlay.

More keen on this move despite the price and lack of production.

I'm drooling at Dibling's dribbling.

And he is 19, pacy, tall, strong, two fantastic feet and tonnes of skills. Not sure what more you could want in a prospective player. The goals and assists will come for this lad I am sure of it.

Dibling and N’Diaye together would be fantastic

That video does well to cut off every time before he passes/shoots. Here's hoping the best, I think most likely we have a £40m bench warmer for the season.

That back-to-goal strength and ability to turn is what’s probably most tantalizing to Moyes.

You know he wants that out ball down the line and he might well have it on both sides if we get this done.

Dibling will play every game once he comes into the fold within a few games. He is coming to start. Reminds me of when Branthwaite was destined to take over from Keane. Once he plays he will be undroppable.

I don’t understand why we wouldn’t have been going after him earlier in the summer though and who was higher than him. Perhaps Fofana.

The prices are higher this season, but if you want to compete you have to pay the rate. Dibling will improve us attack wise and will have a sell on fee. Get it done blues. Fofana doesn't want us, so accept and move on

Every time i saw him last season i thought he looked too slow to become as great as people were predicting.
Seems a lot of money for another player with average pace.

Out of curiosity, seeing as the fee with add ONS is getting closer to Kubos release clause.

What would Dibling give us that Kubo wouldn’t? Besides one having played some minutes in the Premier League last season.

Everton part of latest Times article:

Everton agree £25m deal for Chelsea’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Everton have agreed a £25million fee for the Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall but are more pessimistic about signing Southampton’s Tyler Dibling after a third bid fell short (Paul Joyce writes).

Dewsbury-Hall, 26, has been a long-standing target for manager David Moyes, as revealed by The Times last week, and would bolster Everton’s engine room.

Chelsea signed Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City for about £30million 12 months ago, but he was used more extensively in the Conference League than the Premier League.

Moyes has been vocal about Everton needing to bring in more players, with their Premier League season beginning away to Leeds United in a fortnight, but the club have endured frustration over several targets.

That could now extend to Dibling, 19, who has become the preferred option to strengthen on the right wing after Everton missed out on their original target Francisco Conceicao, who joined Juventus permanently after a loan spell in Turin from FC Porto.

Everton’s latest bid was worth about £40million in total and followed previous bids of £27million and £35million. However, the Championship club are continuing to seek more than the latest bid for Dibling, who is keen to move to Merseyside and has two years remaining on his contract. It will now need Southampton to relent on their asking price for progress to be made.

Everton ended their participation in the Premier League’s Summer Series with a 2-2 draw against Manchester United on Sunday night and are next in action against Roma on Saturday in a game that will act as the third and final test event for the new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
