Wasn't there the sports store in time square or somewhere, where West Ham had quite a presence and some players doing shirt signings. Only shirts that were missing in that store were Everton.

Oh maybe, in didnt see that when there but I didn't go on the day of the game.

Im talking just at the stadium itself. I did hear that we had a fan event somewhere but I never did find out where.

Yay! Sounds great!

To be clear though - we’re paying for it right? With £20 a pint?

But I genuinely hope it’s more things like events, which they’ll make a lot at, rather than just £18 for a pie, which they’ll just piss us off with.

They won’t only piss fans off, but they won’t make the optimal amount of revenue. Therefore; they will find pricing that suits all parties. It won’t be Goodison pricing, but it has to suit a mass audience.

The highest margin items will be sorted first, like commercial and sponsorship deals. They are 100% margin and so have the biggest impact. Events are also high margin as they are a service and the majority of the costs are covered by the event organiser.

Anyone know if they were in attendance yesterday, you’d have thought they would be.

The Athletic and the Echo say Ryan Friedkin was there.

Farhad Moshiri was there too which to be fair makes sense since it was under him that we are able to move into a brand new modern stadium.

There’s even photos of him with Everton fans outside the stadium.

It was his vision and he fought and paid to get it through.

Seen a lot of online accounts trying to redress the record and discredit Moshiri. The main analogy going along the lines of "he ordered the most expensive meal on the menu with no way to pay for it".
It nearly ended the club.
Irresponsible.

But they all overlook the fact that we ended up with the best item on the menu. It took a mind of his optimistic lunacy to build that stadium.
Anybody else, anybody with anything like a good mind for business and we're at Goodison with a double-tiered park end or in a Tesco car-park somewhere.

Yeh saw Moshiri was there.
I can feel grateful that he put us in this new stadium whilst also feeling grateful that he has gone and can no longer sink us through his lunacy
