Be great to be able to bring an actual threat off the bench for the last 20 mins
That's Barry's role until he proves himself... Absolutely no point signing him if we're then going to sign someone twice his age and give that player his minutes.
We've made our bed with our striking options, now it's up to us to sleep in it best we can.

No. He wouldn’t be there to take Barry’s minutes. But equally, he’d need some help if Beto had a few weeks out. Can’t all be on his shoulders at his age.

He's just played a full season as first choice in La Liga and scored double figures, he's not come here to be given help, he's here to play. Give him as many minutes as possible.

We’re agreeing here. I’m saying we need a backup 3rd striker who won’t get many minutes but will be dangerous when he comes on. I’d rather see Chermiti out on loan than on the bench having crumbs. Thats no development. Vardy doesn’t need development, just keep himself fit for the odd cameo.
He just looked like he had real quality, didn't he? Playing where he was today he was a massive upgrade in terms of all round play from Doucoure (obviously), I liked the way he was dropping off in to space to pick the ball up deeper and then once he got on it he was very progressive which is what we're crying out for.
Would expect to see things happen because of him as he gets used to his new teammates and they get used to him.
Looked really good today I thought, always looking around to see where people are so he's got a picture when he gets the ball already in his mind, turns and dribbles upfield, always positive and looking to progress the ball.
I think this is what we'll get week in week out, he's not an elite player but he's a very positive and effective one with a great attitude.
Going to be up there with the Gana and Ndaiye love by the end of the season imo.
I do think he'll be an improvement, can't begrudge more tidy footballers who put a shift in.
I do also think it's dead money we will never ever get back, and how much he improves us I dunno. Is it a good deal I don't know. Will he be actually good or what I dunno.
Fingers crossed for him hope he smashes it obviously.
