Pre season friendliest confirmed
Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed
I fucking hate Jose Baxter. He went the Liverpool semi in the Liverpool end the big ham hock headed twat, wish he'd fuck off out the club forever.

Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed
the match versus roma was always going to be a tough game
they certainly tested us and thats the type of game we needed
we should have beaten manu in the usa friendly - maybe we knew how to play against them and nearly got it so right
wheras roma - unfamiliar oppostion - good team close result but its the workout we needed and we will improve with more transfers coming soon

Great day yesterday at the “young” lady, I was blown away by the sheer size of it inside and out. I was right up near the top of the upper south, the climb up won’t suit the older supporters or anyone with bad knees (me!) and although you are close to the pitch, it was like watching ants running around, maybe need those posh binoculars you get in the theatre
The ale situation at full time was a joke, and I won’t be eating there

Reckon we could be bottom by Sunday night.Shogun wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 8:00 pm I know none of us really want to face it or go overboard because what's football without hope, but it's been a pretty shocking pre-season on the whole. I just don't see goals in this team at all. Major reinforcements needed and as much as Beto scored a few last season, laying your hat on him or Barry to consistently get in the goals seems a stretch at this point.
Even defensively, Tarkowski/Branthwaite were scrambling to get blocks in and we are fortunate enough to have one of the best keepers around. A lot of us predicted it but I think a slow start to the season is inevitable at this point.

Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed
Enjoyed it, was very impressed with the stadium.
My dad was up at 6am all dressed with his shirt on sitting in his wheelchair waiting to go. Explained that we were not leaving for a couple of hours yet so he should get in his seat in the living room.
Walking up to the stadium and just seeing it in the distance made me emotional.
Stadium, stewards everything were excellent. Seating for wheelchairs were unbelievable. Got to give it to the club they went all out for disabled fans. The only problem was that the food ran out, but the steak pies that were left were good.
My dad's dementia is getting rapidly worse he kept asking if we still had to get on the ferry. But when he seen the pitch he seemed to enjoy the experience. So glad we did this and a special thanks to Kate from Everton who did her best to arrange everything so my dad could have this experience.

Re: Pre season friendliest confirmed
I noticed that our blue one wasn't used yesterday (from what I could see)
