It's hard because I agree, he's a great player I love, but does he win us more games I don't know. Maybe he does.

I can't really see the downside to signing him on a one year loan. Even if we do pay more wages than we would like to.

Ultimately if you ask David Moyes would he want a player with the quality of Grealish in his squad, you wouldn't even finish the question before he said 'yes'. It's an absolute no brainer.

Exactly, takes the love out of a sport if we start analysing every fucking thing.

Seeing Jack Grealish running down the wing in an Everton shirt in our new ground is what i want.

Not arsed about anything else.

Well I think what, realistic top end...we finish 10th?

Then what, he goes, hole in the pocket, hole in the side, have to learn to replace an elite player.

I just don't know if it's what best practice for building a successful side would say to do.

If he signs I will absolutely enjoy watching him, but I don't know if he ultimately helps get us where we want to go.

They've moved on from Grealish - fans don't want him, neither does Emery.

Obviously we would still need to address our other problems, like RW etc.

But Grealish is your cherry on top player, for a season. A bit of something extra to unlock a few teams in a part of the pitch we have struggled. You would imagine he might bring more out of other players too.

Yes it's only for a year, and you need to recruit again next year, but why's that a problem? It buys you that year, with all the new staff we've brought in to scout and recruit. We've had a massive job on this summer, and this just gives you some breathing room.

We absolutely have to follow a serious model for improvement, getting young players like Aznou, Barry, Alcaraz, hopefully Dibling and others, but you can make an exception for a player like Grealish who will just be noticeably better than everyone in the squad for a season long uplift. I genuinely don't see any negatives to it.

If we pay £250k a week wages for him and £40m+ for Dibbling I do feel we've lost sight of things a bit.

BUT I do want them both here because it's be the most enjoyable team since James, Richarlison and prime DCL.

Probably just need to get it done out of necessity, we've tried multiple players and got nowhere so if we can afford it then getting a mentor for Dibbling (on the field not off it!) and add some proper edge of the seat action to the team then it's what we have to do.

I'm not bothered about Dibling but after watching Everton dross for seemingly 4 straight years then Ndiaye-Grealish-Dibling... My word

The holy trinity of the low-socked ballers
