-------------------------New DM
-----------------Gana-----------KDH
Ndaiye----------------Barry----------Grealish
Then some raw winger who can play both sides hopefully to come of for the last 20.
A bench of:
Garner
New young winger
McNeil
Keane
Travers
Beto
Aznou
That would be a very weirdly competent squad... Just need a new RB in there and we'd be in absolute dream land!
Also - let’s not forget that this is on top of one of the meanest defences in the league.
We could surprise a few folk this year. Just a couple of top strikers away from being around the top end.

Re: The Rebuild
I think we’re going to have a lot of midfield balance issues if we don’t add some kind of anchor man. Can’t afford to lose Garner as currently constructed. Not fussy about who as long as we don’t overpay.
Anchor man, natural right back, right winger. I think those are the minimum remaining requirements for this to be a good window.

Re: The Rebuild
Agreed, I think limiting garner to this role will get the best out of him, especially with the new signings, but if he get's a knock we don't have anyone who can naturally step in and play that position in the same way.kramer wrote: ↑Tue Aug 12, 2025 2:18 pm I think we’re going to have a lot of midfield balance issues if we don’t add some kind of anchor man. Ideally, we sign someone better and garner becomes cover, but I'd take someone with lots of potential who can gradually grow into the role.

Just throwing it out there

Re: The Rebuild
Nah. Moyes isn’t going to put up with that either.
The behavior of a player whose next move is to a well-paying retirement league.

Re: The Rebuild
It could easily be Moyes misheard, or thought he would be helpful as he was closest.sam of the south wrote: ↑Tue Aug 12, 2025 3:56 pm I dunno, the bit with Moyes assuming he’s the daddy in this scenario![]()
