Kubo is wanting/willing to leave Soceidad. He's exactly what we need now.
I wouldn't be upset with
N'Diaye - Grealish - Kubo
I wonder if is signing Grealish might make some of those that were waiting for champions league clubs to come knocking might see us as a more serious and exciting proposition now?
Third choice striker who allows us to send Chermiti on loan to actually develop. Will only play significant minutes if Barry/Beto get injured and scored 9 gials and 4 assists last season.
Wage dependent of course, I don't see the issue. We can't keep having young players sit on the bench and make 10 appearances a season of 15 minutes or so. We need them to go out and develop.
It won't be easy finding a third choice striker. It's almost certainly got to be an experience player who is willing to play that role.

Because don't need a 3rd choice striker and so it's a waste of wages.
Even if he only wanted £50k a week you'd be paying £2.6m + signing on fee and goal / appearance bonuses for someone (in your example) to play 150 minutes of football.
The maths don't add up.
I'd rather save the money and play Ndaiye there if we're in a pickle.
