Today's Football 2025-26
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Palace have a strong XI but there's not much beyond that. Think they could struggle with Europe this season.
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
2-0 Forest. You can't take Frank, Mbeumo, Wissa, Norgaard and Flekken out of that club and just assume they'll be okay because they're Brentford. Huge losses. Not having Kelleher either just because he kept clean sheets playing for one of the best teams in the world usually against inferior opposition. Henderson absolutely not. Dango doesn't touch Mbeumo. Keith fucking Andrews.
Brentford have absolutely fucked it imo.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Looked to me like the Palace player cleared out the Chelsea player, let alone being too close.
That said, there's no way we get that call.

Bet you if I switch to forest though 2nd half there will be no goals! Lol

Andrews will be bald or sacked or both by December.

What was the eze free kick disallowed for? A Palace player too close to the wall? Is that a new rule?? Seems an odd rule.
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Been a rule for like 5 years because opposition players were getting in walls and pushing the defenders out the way. It was getting ridiculous.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Sun Aug 17, 2025 2:26 pm What was the eze free kick disallowed for? A Palace player too close to the wall? Is that a new rule?? Seems an odd rule.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Surely the rule should be you're not allowed to push anyone rather than you're not allowed to stand there? Honestly didn't know it was a thing. Do players not stand on the end of the other teams wall every game? I kind of just assumed that still happened

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Crystal Palace have done well today, I wonder who is going to get Glasner when he's done there as he looks like he'd be capable of going on to bigger clubs.
Chelsea have been pretty poor though, was thinking they were ready to kick on a bit but maybe not.
