Re: The Rebuild
Just keep one of Armstrong (to me he has already proven he's ready) and Our Tim around. They'll end up playing plenty. Better idea than giving minutes to the Michael Keane of midfield (that's what Brownhill would be), who will command a decent-sized wage and not do anything to move the club forward.

For me, it’s the easiest position to change to give yourself a boost when you need a goal badly. Fresh legs are always useful against a tired defense, it’s why poor or mediocre players sometimes look quite good off the bench.
When one of DCL or Beto was unfit last season, we basically had to leave the fit one up there for 90’, even when they were tired and couldn’t make runs as aggressively or challenge for 50-50 balls effectively.
We could swerve that situation by just adding one more striker on a free since I don’t think the next man up from the U21s is anywhere near this level.
An injury to Beto would ruin Barry. Another season on the bench will hurt Chermiti. This is why Vardy is a good idea.
Re: The Rebuild
Has there been any links what so ever to Vardy?
Only one I can remember is Bobble on his patron saying he's been "offered to us"

Re: The Rebuild
That kid Rowe is lightening quick from what I’ve seen. Aggressive style of play too.
Re: The Rebuild
If the recruitment team needed an catalyst to get themselves in gear, the absolute shite we've served up at Elland Road tonight will hopefully be it.

Re: The Rebuild
Shameful window.
Disaster.
Another game chucked away from some seriously bad planning.

Re: The Rebuild
Lost most of my enthusiasm for the season weeks ago when it was obvious we’d be coming into the season short all over the pitch.
Whatever enthusiasm I had has completely disappeared after tonight.
We won’t be fine.
We won’t sign four more players.
And the manager will be gone in a matter of months if he continues to call out the recruitment team whilst not using the players bought for him. They’ll just replace him with someone who can work in their structure.
The club is still an absolute shambles and I’ve seen no evidence to convince me otherwise this summer.

Re: The Rebuild
Every season.
It was obvious when Moyes took the reigns in Jan what we needed.
Absolute shambles to not have the players in.
Whether it's the approach we took I don't know. Being too ambitious.
Worry now that we've seemingly lumped our faith in Beto and an untried Barry.

Re: The Rebuild
Funny.
The optimism was there.
Some well known Journos spouting about how we where gonna "attack the market", with intensity.
How it was gonna be the biggest and most exciting recruitment drives in the clubs history.
It's been anything but.
You just begin to wonder will we ever, even by accident, just happen to get it right.
I'm just bored. We will be fine this season, we will improve.
But why do we ALWAYS do this to ourselves.

Re: The Rebuild
Not sure we will be fine to be absolutely honest.
We get ten games in and this lot bin moyes, I'm pulling the fire alarm.
