Now we have Grealish we need an LW even less... Think this one has sailed tbh.ilikebrunettesisback wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 5:38 am Lyon have told fofana he has to go. And we are the only club who has made a bid

Re: The Rebuild
Fofana would be huge but our offer is on the table all summer and the player is waiting for a better one
Re: The Rebuild
Fofanah has played there 8 times in his entire career, I highly doubt he wants to come here anyway let alone to play out of position (obvs).
Re: The Rebuild
Absolutely sensational that we still haven't addressed the right hand side.
I want Dibling but a lot of faith being put in a 19 year old to play RW from the off.

Re: The Rebuild
I would say that unless there are twists and turns then it has to be counted as a complete disaster. Especially when there has been ample time to plan for this. This window has been a long time coming and I would guess that the change in team and Thelwell leaving has had a huge impact.kramer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 9:15 pm I’m jumping the gun a bit because there are probably twists and turns to come but this summer is looking like an irredeemable disaster.
Hopefully this post will ultimately look as bad as me flapping about a potential back three with KDH at wing back on the Leeds match day thread.
Not getting in a right winger or even 2x RWs is just not acceptable. They should have had 15-20 names on a short list and gone one by one to get one or two in by the start of the season. They should have gone early on a squad player and then could have taken their time on a first XI player. Instead we currently have nothing and it seems we are going to have to pay up for Dibling.
Re: The Rebuild
I’m usually the club apologist, the manager, the owners, the senior officers of the club can do no wrong BUT THIS ! Is a fucking monumental disaster and the club have fucked up massively, not even a hint, a rumour or wild speculation of being anywhere near a signing.
Re: The Rebuild
I want him too but I think it's just that I desperately want an RW and he also fits the young with high ceiling potential box too.
I'd happily swap him for any other young RW with a similar profile.

I’m at that point where it’s like when you drive past a half built building that hasn’t had anything done to it for years but you keep checking it just in case…
Crazy as it seems but wouldn’t be surprised if we’ve concluded our business… new faces in charge, new optimism but same old Everton

I actually think Moyes walks if we've concluded our business.NickNack wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 8:17 am I’m at that point where it’s like when you drive past a half built building that hasn’t had anything done to it for years but you keep checking it just in case…

I think he's been made promises that at the moment haven't happened and I'd walk if they didn't sign anymore players.Big Nevs Vaz wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 8:22 am I actually think Moyes walks if we've concluded our business.

He’s a massive part of the committee so has to take a large part of responsibility himself.
