I am not willing to go back to "Moshiri/Ancelotti Era" recruitment. If it's a choice between that, and sacking Moyes? I choose the latter.

He's a very good manager, but if he's dipped back into hubris/I should run everything exactly as I want mode...just no.

Nah. Not turning on Moyes. He was poor against Leeds, but this transfer committee is the part that's concerning me. In business you never change everything at once, we've done exactly that.

We’ve changed it and then decided our head of recruitment won’t start until September when the window is closed

It is really difficult to point the finger when we've no idea of the dynamics.

But I would say that with the performances on the pitch in the immediate, the buck stops with Moyes.

The overall performance of the recruitment team, the buck stops with Amgus Kinnear.

If Moyes won't play to the strategy set then there's only one answer I'm afraid.

It's the turning up of his nose at Barry that alarms me. I don't agree with how he sees Aznou, either - but it's in a zone where people can reasonably disagree.

Not Barry. He was a very important signing for us, and needs to play. No Vardy for Moyes (and this is exactly WHY you don't supply him with players like Vardy)

Obvious at this point that something is going severely wrong within the recruitment team and it most likely is a difference of opinion on what players we need to bring in.

This happened at west ham with moyes.

Would love to go a summer without seeing the words “premier league proven” all the time.

It never works.
The only places I’ve seen that phrase are on here and in the press 🤷‍♂️

Not saying it hasn’t been said elsewhere but I don’t recall it from actual interviews I’ve seen

Moyes has plenty of form for buying non premier league players for us and West Ham

If you've got a jigsaw with 5 missing pieces, then you can only do as best as you can. If you aren't supplying the pieces then that's where the problem lies. We need to fill the gaps.

Now I'm not suggesting that there aren't any issues between Moyes & the recruitment team, we don't know that, but it's clear that Moyes is missing the pieces he needs to compete.

Kinnel, one bad performance and we're calling Moyes out! Seriously?

Don’t think it’s the one bad performance, just likely if he digs his heels in against the committee with owners known to fire at will.

Nothing to do with the match plan on Monday, or the performance. Everything to do with the apparent power struggle/related gamesmanship (Nuno is doing the same shit with Forest, as an owner I wouldn't put up with that, either).

But it's an ownership/management decision. They know whether this is just media pot-stirring or a real problem. I amjust making my own best guess, given what I see and hear. My sharing it "publicly" with dozens of my fellow weirdos here...I mean, who else would I share it with? My cats? They're not arsed, sadly.

I’m pro DM, but if doesn’t stop fucking whining and sends the lads out to do the same again this weekend, then he’s setting himself up for a problem in short order

He’s got to set up positively on Sunday, which includes picking some new players a la Grealish to start, maybe Aznou, maybe Barry (albeit I’m fine with Beto if we are playing properly)

For the record, my only quibble with Monday's match plan was not bringing Barry on at HT. The rest was fairly creative and almost stole us a difficult point.
