Our style is counter attacking with no pace and taking as few shots as possible and then wondering why we haven’t scored
Yeah but if every player can skin half a team you have multiple options for getting the ball upfield quickly.

In a world where we can counter with any of Ndaiye, Grealish, Dibbling and KDH all running at opponents I can see us being pretty effective.

Also we don't really need attacking full backs in that scenario as we're looking for transitions rather than building play.

It's not really how I want us to play, I'd prefer if we went down this route we looked for pace ala Forest, but I also do think 3-4 Ndaiye type players all in the attacking slots is a potential recipe for being dangerous .

'Closing in on a deal'.

There's only Everton that can make signing a young exciting prospect into a disappointing event.

At least get this lad in before the Caribou tie Wednesday (unless he's already Cup-tied) please

Hard to argue he's what we need right now, but he's definitely an investment that should pay off in the longer term.

I wonder how big the sell on clause will ultimately be.

Wasn't disclosed but I'd be amazed if it was near or as high as the 25% they originally wanted.

Still reckon we'll get gazumped somehow by either Palace or Spurs, because we are Everton.

We definitely aren't getting gazumped because no one else is daft enough at the price. There's been literally zero interest

Totally underwhelmed by this one tbh, and worry that he's going to have the crowd on his back quite quickly if he struggles.

Hopefully it turns out well though, he's obviously got shitloads of potential so fingers crossed he's the answer to our right side midfield problems.
