New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Lot of positive vibes around the stadium and they're all correct. Phenomenal.
Thought I was going to die with how hot it was in that upper South Stand before the game though. Wedged and that glass wall made it unbearable. Good job football isn't a summer sport, I'll say that.

It was a sweat box in Murphy’s beforehand, and you know it’ll be frickin freezing come November in there.superpull wrote: ↑Sun Aug 24, 2025 6:08 pm Lot of positive vibes around the stadium and they're all correct. Phenomenal.

The noise, my god the noise! It was a such a different experience to the Roma game. Absolutely magnificent and everyone around was in the first moment awestruck and then we settled in, I can’t believe how quickly it has become home. Love it.

The atmosphere was deafening at times. Just perfect today.

Still felt like an away game/trip to Wembley though.
That'll change with time.
Took half an hour from a train near New Brighton to get to Sandhills and about the same to walk from the ground to James Street.
That walk into town is going to be so good over the next decade.
Even the corner of Bath Street & the strand had a great little place. And towards the water there had the makings of a boss little hang out.
Pic of the corner I'm talking about:

The walk to town might not be so decent in December though! Must admit, it was all a bit slow leaving the stadium today.

I'm just absolutely buzzing about this stadium. I love and will always love Goodison but walking up the steps and just seeing this place in all its massive beauty leaves me in awe. It feels like an big step for the club moving forward and everything about it is just magnificent. We couldn't have wished for anything better.

So many things to say about it. Not all good by the way, there a few things I think piss me off/I'm not a fan of.
But they're blown away by the positives.
Even things like there being a merchandise store in the stand. So you can buy a kit on the concourse. Really clever.
And little things like some of the sponsors I saw today. Energiser batteries being the stand out one. Proper big advertising gigs that form the bedrock of increased revenue.

Just got home now and still not over how amazing the stadium is. The noise in the south stand was incredible. Dan Meis is a legend.

The morning after and I am still buzzing about the game and the stadium.
Just can’t wait to go back and experience it again.

Anyone use Sandhills after the game? How did it cope, not seen much in press?

My only complaint was the condiments table.
Was seriously lacking.

Anyone else use the Pass through and have an issue ? I used tge pass through before the game, you tap your credit card which charges you £20 and then allows you in, you take what you want and then leave, you are supposed to be charged for what you took and the balance credited back to your card. I took a pint of Bud and a sausage roll, just checked my card and have not received a credit. Will be writing to club to see what happens here.
