New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
What was that segregation all about? It went half way along the upper north stand, seemed far bigger than it needed to be considering there was hardly any segregation in the lower section.
Just over 48,500, 4000 below capacity and looked like lots of empty seats around the ground again on top of the segregation but billed as sold out.

Was a mad chunk of about 50 seats together empty towards the south of the upper West stand.Gash wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 9:52 pm What was that segregation all about? That buffer is deffo due to an oversight.
The lower part doesn't need segregation as it has been designed for away fans. There is an extra barrier just for stewards that creates a natural barrier on either side.
Obviously nobody realised we have to give more tickets to away fans in the cups, so they have just flapped it and made sure there was at least a section between home & away. But the sections are all massive.
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Also, that upper South Stand concourse is fucking shite.
Layout is poor, every square inch is a bottleneck.
Very few screens or Comms and the sound insulation means you have no way of knowing the game has kicked off for the second half.
Lots of work to be done down there I think.

I love it up there.
Only issue is the toilets but other than that it’s great.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Ticketing caused lot of balls up tonight. Huge queues outside the stadium to the extent the game was delayed 15 minutes. No doubt the box office was busy as well. The season ticket not updating catching a lot of people out from what I could tell. The fact that the club didn't even email out the Mansfield tickets (at least not to me) is very poor considering it's not like they make a point to tell people to download the app in the first place.
Then not allowing ST holders to transfer their tickets just resulted in empty seats. If most were physical cards then that would have been absolutely full tonight apart from the segregation bit.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Disappointed with how the south stand looks on tele.
The great divide is very visible even when everyone is standing up and the front of the lower south is killed off with the massive stairwells by the goals.
And I hate the rails. They look shite. I hate how we’ve compromised that stand to fit in safe standing which might not even be a thing.
The Gwladys was just a sea of people who bared down when we scored a goal. Going to miss that ascetic from Goodison.

Would be nice to get a hold drink in there. Has 4 Pepsi max over 2 games and all of them room temperature at best

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Yeah defo some stuff tonight im sad about.
South stand looks pretty shite tbh. The Divide is horrible. Massive and shite.
The rails make it look empty.
The disabled bays are shocking. I 100% advocate for fantastic views for those in wheelchairs, and id say half way up would be way better anyway, surely too low down.
Anyway looks crap and empty.
Also hated the torch search lights thing at beginning of the game, my god its like a championship team that.
Im absolutely fuming about the ticket situation. Today and Sunday, loads of empty seats.
The issue with tickets needs sorting. Its pathetic.
Just put a statement out to say you've fucked up and you're sorry and will work with fans to figure this out.
Its infuriating not being able to get a ticket and then seeing empty seats!
Anyway. The sky was beautiful hey!!!!

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
This might be an unpopular point of view, but its just my personal feeling. I'm not a fan of the Siren continuing a the new stadium.
There's ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza and that Siren is being heard on the news still to this day to signify an imminent threat to life, I think it needs to dropped. World's changed in the last 5 years and its starting to feel less harmless fun than it used to. The new sound system is so loud it's genuinely a bit much imo. I'd also rather we withdrew it before someone outside the club mentions it and it becomes something we're cricized into.

That’s actually a valid point, am a bit torn on this one ? Wonder what Myko thinks of this as his family and friends must hear something similar every time Russian drones approach.Matt1878 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 28, 2025 9:50 am This might be an unpopular point of view, but its just my personal feeling. Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
I'd be absolutely gutted if the siren goes, gives pretty much everybody a buzz when it comes on.
Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
We already got rid of it when the war in Ukraine started so I’m sure mykolenko isn’t bothered by it.
We can all separate what is a noise signalling an oncoming attack, and what is used to heighten the atmosphere in a football match can’t we?
There’s always a war going on somewhere.

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Yeah 100% agree on this, the lower South in particular looks awful, and I'm not even sure if safe standing is a good idea. It looks shit?TheRam wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 10:31 pm Disappointed with how the south stand looks on tele.

Hasn't achieved what it was meant to achieve imo and looks really crap. Less said about the blag divide the better. Agree with @Audrey Horne about the disabled sections as well, terrible idea to have them there.
There is as it stands no raucous lower gwladys style area in this ground and it's because of the mess of the lower South.
The upper South concourse - I've no idea what anyone's talking about, there's about one million places to get a bevy, hardly any queues at all, unbelievable views out that window - it's unreal.
The bogs situation isn't great, I missed Alcaraz* goal cause I was still queueing and had no idea it had even kicked off.
But ale and food you're sorted within seconds and there's lots of places to stand?

Re: New Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock
Could be very triggering for anyone who has recently lived under the sound of imminent warfare like. If I was one of those gazan refugee kids that we're looking to bring over and was invited to BMD and a new life... its probably the last thing on earth I would want to hear as a welcome.TheRam wrote: ↑Thu Aug 28, 2025 10:21 am We already got rid of it when the war in Ukraine started so I’m sure mykolenko isn’t bothered by it.

We've just been showcasing the sensory room to cater for fans with autism, the siren just doesnt seem particularly on point to me. Appreciate people really like it though, so just a judgement call.
