Re: Man Utd - relegation?
A club that endured the humiliation of finishing 15th in the league and suffered a crushing defeat in a European final has-in just the first 2 days of the window-secured two of the Premier League's most lethal attackers.
But perhaps even more remarkable is their captain's decision. When faced with a life changing £150 million payday from Saudi Arabia, he chose loyalty over fortune, staying to fight for a club many had written off.
This isn't just about money or star power. It's about the magnetic pull of a club, and it goes beyond league positions and trophies. It's the enduring spirit that Sir Matt built, and Sir Alex turned into an empire.
Even in these horrid times, Manchester United remains Manchester United. Some things can't be bought, sold, or broken, they can only be inherited.

Re: Man Utd - relegation?
Oh
So Manchester Utd plc takes all the whacking losses
But the loophole here is that the PSR calc is done on another Glazer owned company Red Football Ltd for some reason and they hardly take any losses
Time to scrap PSR, it’s a farce

Re: Man Utd - relegation?
It's just mad with that they've spent 200 m on three strikers while doing next to nothing about the rest of the team.
It looks like they're stuck in a huge rut they just can't get out of.
Everything looks tired and stale, like they need a complete reset.
They are still a long way off challenging for the top honours again

Re: Man Utd - relegation?
Amorim certainly on borrowed time.
If it wasn’t for Sir Alex Ferguson’s legacy at Man Utd, that club would be an average club with little global appeal - how long can they rely on that legacy?

Re: Man Utd - relegation?
If I didn’t know any better, I’d say Amorim is trying to get sacked.
He’s either mailing it in for a hefty payout or outrageously far out his depth.
Can’t imagine any other manager in the league right now spending £300m and still shoehorning players into a system that isn’t functioning,

He’s out of his depth.
You can’t expect a young manager from Portugal to go into man United and be a success.
All the top clubs are obsessed with systems managers these days.
United should just go and get Conte when he next throws a fit at Napoli, Inzaghi, Allegri, Tuchel when England bin him.
Managers who’ll just bump you up the league immediately and get you back to acting like a proper club

Re: Man Utd - relegation?
Him hiding in the dug out staring at the floor because he couldn't handle watching the penalties was quite telling imo.
What kind of leader does that?
I'd absolutely hate to be in a penalty shootout as a player with my manager hiding because it's too stressful for him.

Re: Man Utd - relegation?
Really enjoyed Cunha missing his penalty. Seems a complete dickhead based on his Wolves' behaviour.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
