What sort of player is he actually supposed to be, I'm not sure at the moment. Not an obvious profile to him just sort of looks a good sized okay footballer who fits in at this level which for his age is great obviously...but it's not like a Barkley where you go wow fuck me look at the talent.
Ah Barkley, he coulda bin a proper contender

He needs a loan. Moyes won't trust him to start and he needs games to develop, not cameos here and there.

We've made many mistakes with youngsters over the years and we need to do what's right for the kid, he's got such potential.

Would prefer he had a similar loan to Branthwaites one to PSV rather than the Championship again.

Loan him out until January and bring him back in as cover for the AFCON and then use him the rest of the seeson where appropriate.

He's a great player for 18, I don't think he's a million miles off.

Looking at our centre-mid options at the moment, You want 4 ideally.

Gana
Armstrong
Garner - when not covering fb(s)
Iroegbunam

If and when we get another cm in, then its a decision on whether to let HA or TI out on loan.if we dont get one in, we definitely need to keep him.

He's gonna be quality, but needs games at this age to realise the potential.

Either loan him out or committ to playing him regular.

I'd have him all day over Iroegbunam. Loan him out instead

I think the idea is to loan out the one with the higher ceiling as the loan player will get 35+ games a season and the one who stays will probably get 10-15

If we don't find him a decent loan we've learned nothing over the last few years. Get him out on loan and he's still only 19 when he comes back next summer. We've done this too often with young players where we've needed them to pad out the squad but ended up hardly using them, playing U21's or whatever it is and the odd cup and sub appearance isn't going to benefit anyone. This is also why we see them getting injured all the time, when they're called upon they're not used to the intensity and can't cope with it from both a playing and physical point of view.

Going on loan to Preston apparently.

Moyes indicated that he might be back in January to cover for AFCON.

Great loan will be good to watch him develop

Been short on numbers and he still hasn’t been on the pitch in the league.

He’d hardly play for us so it’s great to have him on loan.

He should smash it again then be a genuine option for us.

He was on the pitch in the last league game!

But I get ya. Still a full season of championship football is more beneficial than sitting on the bench at the moment

Really like the look of him, would be made up if he successfully makes the leap to being a first team regular with us
