I have no idea why they find this sort of stuff so hard. After missing the Brighton ballot, to get a Friday 5pm email to invite me to the resale 7hrs earlier, I thought they might get on top of sending out stuff after the fact.

They're making a complete arse of this at the the moment and the communication's terrible, even to the point when you click the 'contact us' on the ticketing page you get a 404 error. Why are they always so bad at this kind of thing, this is basic ticketing technology to your phone, they've been doing it at Goodison for a while now, it really shouldn't be that hard. I know they're trying to keep touts to a minimum but the whole thing is so amateur.

I got the important ticket information - Mansfield Town at the same time as you this morning.

I think some school leavers convinced the club they were IT pros and got jobs way above their ability.

Complete fucking shit show going on now ! Until this morning at 10am I had my season ticket in my apple wallet. Then a notification appeared saying my Aston Villa ticket has been loaded ? now all I have is a ticket to the Villa game which I can not get to and was going to put my ticket on re sale ! Absolutely fucking impossible to do it the way it used to be, I follow the instructions in the guide “how to list your ticket for re sale” and I end up on a page trying to sell me a season ticket for the women. I try “manage tickets” and I get a message you have no tickets to manage, it’s like we have a couple of kids on YTS managing this process rather than a team of IT specialists in ticket distribution worthy of a £700 million stadium or whatever it was !

Still waiting for my credit from £20 pass through charge for a beer and a sausage roll.

The weird thing is, this isn't the club directly, as the ops and tech is mostly outsourced to Ticketmaster.

But they've been doing this this properly for plenty of other clubs and venues for years... so what's going on here?

Buying resale through the app js a shambles too. Trying for the Villa game, I log on, says there's a seat available, let's me select it but can only add it as U11, junior or 65+, which I none of.

Let me add an appropriate ticket for myself yesterday, by the time I went to check out it was no longer available.

Sort it the fuck out, please! Shouldn't be this hard, along with the communications days after the event, just makes us look like amateurs.

Why can’t they just go back to the good old season ticket books…..why is everything gotta be “online”? Especially when everything on line is shite…..can’t even get my credit card statement downloaded went in bank to sort 3 weeks ago then got an email off my bank asking why I hadn’t paid it ?
